Adding and editing cards
Bring a deck in from a link on Archidekt, Moxfield, MTGGoldfish, AetherHub or ManaBox, paste a list from any of them or
MTG Arena, or drop a .dek or .csv file. Add cards by typing a name ("3 sol ring" adds three, "-sol ring" removes one),
search with Scryfall's syntax, or drag a card straight from Scryfall onto the deck. Pick the printing of every card, undo
or redo any change, and select several cards at once to move or tag them.
Checked on every change
Every change is checked against the official Commander brackets by the same engine as our bracket calculator, and each result names the cards and the rule behind it.
Game Changers: which ones the deck runs, against the limit at each bracket.
Lower the bracket: the exact cards that hold the deck where it is, confirmed by checking the deck again without them.
Combos: every combo on Commander Spellbook the deck contains, two-card combos included, and the ones it is one card
away from, with the bracket each would set.
Mass land destruction and extra turns, as the bracket rules describe them.
Mana: colored sources from Frank Karsten's published tables, and his formula for the land count. The mana base calculator goes further, with suggested lands and a simulated game.
Companion legality card by card, the tokens the deck makes, and a sample hand to draw.
Printings and prices: TCGplayer market prices through Scryfall, updated daily, and any card can be left out of the total.
Saving, versions and sharing
A saved deck keeps a version for each editing session. Each version lists what changed, with swaps paired, and why the
bracket moved. You can name a version, and restoring an old one adds it as a new version, so nothing in the history is
lost. Decks are private until you make one public, which gives it a link and embed code and lists it in the deck builder gallery. Export for Moxfield, MTG Arena, Archidekt or MTGO, or as a plain list.
Questions
Do I need an account?
No. Without one, a saved deck stays with this browser. With an account, signed in with a passkey or a password, your
decks open on any device.
Can I see earlier versions of a deck?
Yes. A saved deck's history lists every version, what changed in it and why its bracket moved, and any version can be
restored.
How is the bracket decided?
By the rules Wizards of the Coast published for each bracket, applied by our engine to your exact list, and each result
names the cards and the rule behind it. Our validation report shows how it
scores Wizards' own precons and other decks with a known bracket, each one listed with its source.
Does it use AI?
No. Every result comes from the published rules and card data, and each one shows the cards behind it.
Can I bring in a deck from Moxfield or Archidekt?
Yes. Paste the deck's link, or copy its list and paste that. Links from MTGGoldfish, AetherHub and ManaBox work too. For
more on putting a deck together, see our Commander deck building guide.
Filters change what you see. The bracket and the analysis always cover the whole deck. The box above the deck also takes
