Why this bracket?

  • Borderline verdict — close to B3: noncombat burst finish (Flayer of the Hatebound, Warstorm Surge) — a real combo kill that's finite/board-dependent, so the two-card-infinite rule doesn't gate it
  • Noncombat burst finish: scaling burn (Flayer of the Hatebound, Warstorm Surge) — finite and board-dependent, so it doesn't trip the two-card-infinite floor, but it's a real combo kill this list is built toward
  • High optimization — score 24/75 (17 interaction spells, 12 card-advantage sources, 1 fast-mana sources) — raises this deck above its hard floor
  • Engine accuracy: 77.1% exact and 99.5% within one bracket on 1,229 organizer-labeled tournament decklists (engine v389).

How it compares

Against the 4 Commander 2019 decks we analyzed, this is the weakest — power 4.2 versus a set average of 4.9. That is 0.4 below the 174-precon library average of 4.6. Its Tipping Point lands on turn 4, the same as the library median.

6 staples this deck does not already run — all legal in Anje Falkenrath's color identity, none over $20, and none of them a Game Changer, so none forces a Bracket 3 floor on its own. Adding cards can still move the bracket: paste the updated list back into the calculator to re-check.

Add all 6 to TCGplayer cart — about $19.89
