Why this bracket?

  • 8 counter multipliers + 3 proliferate — a snowballing +1/+1 engine — but the goldfish sim wins around turn 10 (Bracket 2 "Core" pace, ~8+ turns), not the ~6-7 of an Upgraded deck, so this theme engine alone does not floor Bracket 3
  • Borderline verdict — close to B3: tuned 8 counter multipliers + 3 proliferate — a snowballing +1/+1 engine held at B2 by our Core-pace gate (goldfish ~turn 10) — it breaks no Bracket 3 rule; we promote a 0-Game-Changer engine only at turn 6 or faster
  • High optimization — score 20/75 (10 interaction spells, 7 card-advantage sources, 1 fast-mana sources) — raises this deck above its hard floor
  • Engine accuracy: 77.1% exact and 99.5% within one bracket on 1,229 organizer-labeled tournament decklists (engine v389).

How it compares

Against the 5 Commander 2016 decks we analyzed, this is the weakest — power 3.8 versus a set average of 4.3. That is 0.8 below the 174-precon library average of 4.6. Its Tipping Point lands on turn 4, the same as the library median.

Upgrade this precon

6 staples this deck does not already run — all legal in Atraxa, Praetors' Voice's color identity, none over $20, and none of them a Game Changer, so none forces a Bracket 3 floor on its own. Adding cards can still move the bracket: paste the updated list back into the calculator to re-check.

Add all 6 to TCGplayer cart — about $11.79
